About Global Shapers Nordic Hubs
Global Shapers Helsinki Hub
The Helsinki Hub kicked off its activities in the late 2016. We are a team of over 20 shapers and over 10 alumni. Our vision is to improve our shared future by shaping a more inclusive and collaborative society. The first event we organized was Davos Studio 2017, an event that brings the global topics discussed in the World Economic Forum to local communities. Since then the hub members have built connections with neighbour hubs in Stockholm, Oslo and Copenhagen. The idea of Nordic Summit was born from the Nordic Retreat in Copenhagen, a weekend that sparked enthusiasm and a shared desire to expand Nordic collaboration for greater impact.

Global Shapers Copenhagen Hub
The Copenhagen Hub is made up of very talented and diverse young people committed to shape the local community. We come from different walks of life and work with very different topics e.g. consulting, entrepreneurship, health, pharma, investment banking, corporate strategy, technology and much more. What brings us together is our entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to create positive change in the society. Our vision is to lead and support projects with local impact to increase global awareness and change the world for the better.
Main challenges we see in our country are increasing inequality, growing populism and political polarization, climate changes and more. At Nordic Summit we hope to get inspired, start co-creating and address shared challenges so we can shape together and increase our social impact as a community. Power of Nordic Collaboration can strengthen a culture of learning and sharing across the hubs and we hope to start scaling our impact in the shaper community by working more together.

Global Shapers Stockholm Hub
Global Shapers Stockholm was founded in late spring 2018 and has already established itself as a very active hub with 15 members. With members from various industries and background, they have found a common interest in fighting climate change. We are convinced that this is something that all nordic countries face and our wish is to start collaborating in various projects that can have a greater impact on the climate.
